Melody has always wanted to be an attorney and work to solve problems for others in need. She graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2003. For the last 15 years, she has gained extensive experience defending the rights of the criminally accused, separating spouses, personal injury victims, and more. With an interest in entertainment law, she has taken the opportunity to become one of few such lawyers in North Carolina. As an experienced litigator, she'll confidently take on any case and fight for the best possible outcome for her clients in or out of court.

Paulette has practiced extensively in Eastern North Carolina and the Outer Banks, as well as in the civil and criminal courts of the First Judicial District encompassing 7 eastern counties including Currituck, Dare and Hyde Counties.

Samantha is a native of Batavia, New York and she moved to Raleigh to attend college at North Carolina State University. Samantha is a 2020 graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a minor in Psychology. She began working with Life Law while she was student as an intern for the firm. She is eager to assist clients get the representation and results that they deserve. She enjoys cooking her native Italian cuisine and baking delicious treats for the office.

Yaely is a North Carolina native and she has lived in Raleigh for the past twenty years. She is a Legal assistant at Life Law and plans to further her education in paralegal studies while working at the firm, so that she may better assist Spanish-speaking clients. Her native tongue is Spanish and she quickly learned English as her second language through school at a young age. She believes it is important to make an effort to help those around you, both professionally and socially.

Halea has lived in North Carolina since 2000. She's a graduate of North Carolina State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Spanish and Literature with not one, but two, minors in Criminology and Law and Justice. Since her graduation in 2012, she has held multiple roles within the legal field including a legal assistant, courtroom clerk, and now as a paralegal for the Law Offices of C. Melody Davalos, PLLC since the beginning of 2020. She uses her fluency in Spanish as an opportunity to give every person that seeks Melody's and Dana's legal representation a fair chance at quality guidance and counsel.
